JE # 99 – Urgent Prayer Request

Setyembre 23, 2008

At noontime here in Manila, I got this message from my Multiply (via 702DZAS group):

PLS. PRAY FOR THE CHURCH IN INDIA.
BUDHIST EXTREMISTS BURN 20 CHURCHES IN ORISSA LAST LAST NIGHT.
BJO PLANS TO KILL 200 PASTORS IN THE NEXT 24HOURS.
ALL CHRISTIANS ARE HIDING IN THE BUSHES.
PLS.PRAY AND FORWARD TO ALL INTERCESSORS YOU KNOW. SO WE CAN CRY TO GOD ON THEIR BEHALF….

THNKS U SO MUCH AND GODBLESS!!!

The earliest version of this message, as I surfed the Internet is dated September 18. I don’t know if it’s true. But I am very sure that Christians are persecuted in different parts of the world, even here in the Philippines. Brothers and sisters, we need to pray for them not just the persecuted Christians in India.

I read a story related to this which may prove that this message is true. Follow this link http://orissaburning.blogspot.com/ .

True or not, PRAY ANYWAY.

God keep us.

JE # 86 – Prayers for Angel Maree

Agosto 23, 2008

Raine would like to thank everyone of you who gave financial support on her little angel’s surgery. I have announced here last month about this kid’s condition and the mother’s need for financial support.

The operation is set on August 28 at the Philippine Heart Center. My dear readers, be on your knees as the kid and the whole family prepares for the surgery. Pray for the success of this life-saving event.

Raine and Maree, we’re just behind you. Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you. Be still and know He is God! We’re praying for you.

And speaking of prayer, let us also pray for our kababayans in some part of Mindanao. Pray for peace among different tribal groups there.

Thanks for reading. God keep us always.

Journal Entry # 13 – Smile Behind the Trials (Janice's Morning Prayer)

Disyembre 5, 2007

O Lord, grant that I may see the funny side of things to the little things that bother now and then. Lord, grant my sense of humor to be strong that even if I weep a bit – and yet to smile again. To every trial, Lord, grant a funny half.
